Presented by Rockfact Music Club & IRON-T21
Rockfact Music Club, Münchenstein, Switzerland - 21.05.2016
Recently, the first Swiss Judas Priest tribute band Cutest Beast was formed. The supergroup about singer Andy Lickford, guitarist Peter Berger, guitarist René Meyer, bass player Omar Cuna and drummer Roberto Antonucci pay tribute to „Metalgod“ Rob Halford, who’s a metal icon and inspiration. IRON-T21 managed to hire this supergroup for an exclusive appearance at Rockfact Music Club in Münchenstein. The local hard rock cover band Dizzip performed as support act. As first band of the evening Dizzip entered the stage on 9:15 PM. They started to perform with the Buckcherry cover „Crazy Bitch“.
Singer Stephan Donelli convinced vocally and guitarist Alex Meyer had guitar duels with bassist & background singer Patrick Winkler and guitarist Guido Benkler. The audience response to the performance was mostly positive, because watchin‘ them live was a pleasure. To the loosening up, singer Stephan Donelli took the joke that a ballad would follow after „Porno Star“. But that wasn’t the case, because the Motörhead anthem „Ace of Spades“ followed. A clever move. At Rage Against The Machine cover „Killing In The Name“ all spectators knelt down at the instruction of singer Stephan Donelli and jumped on his statement out again. Encores got played, because the spectators had so much fun. A cover of Icona Pop hit „I don’t care“, which was renamed in „Say Fuck It“ followed. At the end the Beastie Boys cover „(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)“ followed. After this song Dizzip said goodbye and received much applause. A short interruption occured and pole dancer Isa showed a great performance when „Du Hast Mich“ by Rammstein bumped out the speakers. You don’t see somethin‘ spectacular every day and convinced all spectators, who concerned Isa for their dance moves with much applause. Then the intro of „Hellion“ bumped out the speakers and Cutest Beast entered the stage. „Jawbreaker“ got played and the spectators started headbangin‘. Singer Andy Lickford convinced with his stage presence and with his voice, which reminded of Rob Halford. He knew how you animated the audience. Guitarist Peter Berger convinced with guitar solos and had guitar duels with guitarist René Meyer. There was a good atmosphere and the spectators liked Cutest Beast. Pole dancer Isa could perform one more time at „Breaking The Law“. It wasn’t so easy to focus on the live performance of Cutest Beast and the sensual performance of Isa. Men are just men when beautiful women are sexy and stylish. Cutest Beast wanted leave the stage afterwards but the spectators wanted more and asked for encores. For this reason the encores „Painkiller“ and the party anthem „Living After Midnight“ followed before they said goodbye to an enthralled audience. They received standing ovations for their sensational performances and they earned it.
